It was a sad day at Sincil Bank yesterday as Lincoln City lost to Aldershot Town 3-0, condemning them to relegation.  It was the eighth defeat out of the last nine games, prompting manager Steve Tilson to state “We simply weren’t good enough.”

This means Primetime Media’s coverage of the fortnightly home game at Lincoln City has come to an end.  It’s a sad day for cameraman Simon White who has been a steady feature at the grounds for nearly 20 years!  But who knows he could be back in three years time if Lincoln City manage to return to the Football League.

We would like to wish Lincoln City lots of luck for next season.

Just Jane NX611 as engines start

Lancaster NX611 ‘Just Jane’ is to feature in a new DVD to be released by Primetime.  Filming is just beginning, as talk is afoot that this Lancaster will soon begin the restoration to flight.

Over the bank holiday weekend the Aviation Heritage Centre hosted a model aircraft flying weekend with taxy runs by this wonderful Lancaster.

Our cameras captured the taxy runs, from inside and out, and filmed the excellent array of model aircraft. Over 50 different models were present with members of the Large Model Association travelling from all over the UK to fly and display their wonderful models.

Minicamera being fitted

With a few model Lancasters in attendance, we seized the opportunity to mount a minicamera on a large model flown by Andy Johnson. The flight was successful and provided a unique view from on top of a Lancaster (albeit a mini version) as it flew overhead East Kirkby Airfield and Just Jane.

Lysanda Eco-Log Metro from Primetime Media on Vimeo.

Lysanda asked Primetime Media’s Steve White to create a short promotional DVD to demonstrate how their ‘Eco-Log Metro’ works when installed in a vehicle. The monitor alerts a driver when their acceleration exceeds an economical level.

Primetime fitted two specialised camera clamps inside the car to record a journey and then in post production combined both video tracks to create the finished result.

Last night was a very special evening for one young lady from Doncaster. Twelve year old Aimee Dempsey was named Child of Courage at the Pride of Britain awards in London, and cameraman Simon White of Primetime Media was there to film it for ITV Yorkshire.

The many celebrity guests included X-Factor’s Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Danny Minogue, comedian Michael McIntrye, musicians Pixie Lott, Dizzie Rascal and Tom Jones – all present to highlight the great achievements made by these special children and young adults.

Simon joined the rest of the UK press on the red carpet and during the press conferences – interviewing many celebrities plus Yorkshire and Lincolnshire’s brave and courageous youngsters.

Steve White and jib sent to film live for ITV Yorkshire

Primetime’s team were called to Halifax on Wednesday with our camera crane – providing an extra dimension of viewing for ITV Yorkshire’s Calendar News viewers.

With the shock spending cut announcements made that afternoon by Chancellor George Osborne, ITV presenter John Hill was sent along to Halifax to speak with the locals and discover their reactions to the Government’s spending revue.

Our team provided a moving shot from a high wide angle of the homes in the street, smoothly transitioning to a close up of John Hill with the local residents.  Before returning later for another group shot for more live interviews and a final piece to camera.

The live broadcast went out last night. For more information about ITV Yorkshire visit Calendar News site
